Good Morning!!!!!!!!!!!

Coffee is on, leaves are falling, and........It seems like winter is almost here

Oh well, here's a few new inlays.
This first one is a design supplied by Dr. John Decker of Guitarmasterworks.
You've seen a similar inlay a few weeks back from Craig.
John is having several inlay artists doing slightly different renditions of his "Maui Girl".
Materials: MOP,gold MOP, Paua, pink ab, ebony(bottom pleats in dress).

This rosette was done from a customer supplied image in late 2005. I just came across the photo mixed in with some of my son's soccer photos
I'm not sure who created the original, but it looked tight enough to have been done by cnc; If anyone knows, please share to give fair credit for the design.
MOP,koa, and 3 inner and outer purfling strips set in ebony.(paint shop used to remove the center hole from the circle cutter.)

Thanks for looking, and.....stay warm!

Paul

Well done, Paul. Often human figures don't translate well to pearl inlay, but your work on this one is most excellent!

Paul, that looks too good. I think you paintshopped the whole thing!

J.K. Awesome as always!

re: The rosette design.

I could be wrong, but I know that Jamie Kinscherff has used this design and I think Tom Ellis makes Jamie's rosettes. I'm not sure if Jamie or Tom did the design work, but it is CNC.
